Most AI builders hand you a layout and leave the writing to you, which is the part people are stuck on. Ivy writes the site — the headline, the service descriptions, the about section, the FAQs — and keeps rewriting it whenever you ask.
What the AI actually does
It reads your one-sentence description and works out what kind of business you are, then writes a headline, an about section, three to five services with realistic prices, customer FAQs and contact details in your voice.
It picks a layout and a colour palette to suit the trade — a restaurant and a law firm should not come out looking the same — and finds photographs to match each section.
Then it keeps working. Type "make the tagline punchier" or "add a section about delivery" and it rewrites that part and nothing else.
What it doesn't do
It does not invent your business. It writes a plausible draft from what you tell it, including prices, and some of those will be wrong until you correct them — the phone number and the prices are the two to check first.
It does not build shops with checkout, booking systems or logins. It builds the site that describes your business.
